Reporting to the facility Administrator, the Director of Admissions/Marketing is responsible for maximizing the facility's census through interaction with referral sources and providing information necessary for appropriate admission selection. Responsible for local market analysis and coordinating facility marketing plans.
- Serves as liaison between the facility and referral source and ensures the Marketing Action Plan is appropriately followed from Corporate Direct of Marketing and Admissions.
- Attains or exceeds budgeted census and quality mix daily.
- Coordinates all admissions with the facility team and ensures all admissions are approved by nursing department and coordinated with other disciplines.
- Develops and implements Marketing Action Plan.
- Informs appropriate departments of special requirements needed to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Ensures pre-admission room checks with nursing, maintenance and environmental service.
- Informs appropriate staff of incoming resident care requirements, pre-admissions needs, and other data.
- Follows admission process and completes all admissions documentation accurately and timely to meet state and federal regulations.
- Ensures all resident Face Sheets are completed timely as per policy and procedure.
- Promotes customer services principles via in-services education.
- Works with facility staff to market internally and educates staff on admission and marketing roles.
- Develops community relationships and participates in appropriate functions.
- Develops and maintains relationships with media and facility has photographs and/or articles in local media
- Completes information requested by Corporate Director of Marketing and Admissions.
- Steward the culture by demonstrating and role modeling leadership behaviors.
- Additional duties as required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of sales/marketing experience.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
