Director Of Admissions

Admissions Process:

• Oversee and manage the entire admissions process for the nursing home.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other staff to ensure smooth admissions.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
• Conduct assessments of potential residents to determine eligibility and appropriateness for admission.
• Evaluate medical records, physician reports, and other relevant information.
• Communication:
• Communicate with prospective residents and their families to provide information about the facility, services, and admission procedures.
• Address inquiries and concerns, providing support throughout the decision-making process.
• Paperwork and Documentation:
• Ensure that all required paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with administrative staff to maintain organized and up-to-date admission records.
• Compliance:
• Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to admissions.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing nursing home admissions.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate the transition of residents into the facility.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless integration for new residents.
• Marketing and Outreach:
• Contribute to marketing efforts by participating in outreach activities, tours, and community events.
• Develop relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, physicians, and community agencies.
• Grow the facility census

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $95,000.00 per year
