Form of workStardom Employment Consultants LLC is seeking a CPA who is ready to grow in their career to become the Director of Accounting & Finance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in overseeing and managing the financial operations of a company with more than 150 full time employees.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective financial strategy preparing the company for an investment acquisition in 2024, as well as providing financial guidance and support to the Accounting Department with readiness in mind to consolidate the entities. You will also ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, develop and monitor internal control systems, and analyze financial information to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement to the Board.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective financial strategies and processes.
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Manage the budgeting process and ensure accuracy.
Coordinate and manage audit activities.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial objectives are met.
Oversee the development and maintenance of financial systems.
Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA certification required.
8+ years of experience in accounting and finance with thought leadership mindset and the ability to drive results & manage change sensitively.
Solid understanding of Accounting principles and financial analysis.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
