About the roleAs the Director of IT Infrastructure at One Legal, you hold a pivotal role in shaping and managing our IT landscape to meet the highest industry standards. Your leadership and technical expertise are essential for ensuring the seamless operation of our global IT infrastructure, including networking, security, and cloud initiatives.
Responsibilities- Infrastructure Mastery: Your deep knowledge and experience are crucial in overseeing our global networking stack, encompassing WAN, LAN, Wireless, MPLS, SDWAN, switching, routing, VPNs, and firewalls. Your ability to ensure the performance, availability, and security of these components is paramount.
- Strategic Vision: You are responsible for developing enterprise Infrastructure Operations roadmaps and solution architectures. These blueprints drive service availability, scalability, IT service continuity, and cost-effectiveness while aligning with industry regulations.
- Security and Compliance: Compliance with regulations is a top priority. Your role includes the development of secure enterprise infrastructure, policies, and procedures related to information security, and achieving SOC 2 certification.
- Technical Leadership: As a leader, you provide guidance and direction for projects involving a variety of infrastructure technologies supporting our business applications. Your technical expertise ensures the success of these endeavors.
- Incident Resolution: You handle escalated incidents and infrastructure outages with diligence, driving technical problem resolution and minimizing downtime.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with company leaders and external service providers is a key part of your role, ensuring a collaborative and effective IT ecosystem.
- Team Leadership: Managing and providing leadership to teams responsible for HPC, networking, information security, and database administration is integral to your position. You guide them in designing, building, and maintaining a highly available and scalable IT infrastructure.
- Cloud Initiatives: You play a critical role in designing and executing our cloud initiatives, optimizing Cloud services & software performance, and evaluating and adopting new Cloud services for scalability and robustness.
- Observability and Innovation: Implementing and maintaining the observability stack that supports various internal stakeholders is essential. You also use your experience and problem-solving skills to prevent and investigate production issues.
- System Architecture and Research: You participate in designing and implementing new system layers, especially in EDA/HPC design environments, and contribute to the research and recommendation of specific systems, architectures, and applications for cloud infrastructure solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in advanced IT administration, architecture, and design, including at least 5 years in IT management and leadership roles
- Microsoft Advanced certifications (ie MCSE), AWS, and Azure certifications, other professionally recognized certifications are preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft Windows Server family and Microsoft Azure is required.
- Proficiency in Linux and Linux OS server automation, Information Security, SOC 2 certification, and policy and SOP creation
- Familiarity with various technologies, cloud services, and vendor management
- Experience in operating within a cloud platform such as Azure and AWS is required.
- Strong leadership, people management, project management, and vendor management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Compensation
The anticipated starting base pay range for this role is listed below. Base salary is not the only component of our competitive total rewards package - you may also be eligible for bonus, commissions and other benefits as described below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications.
$158,800 - $175,000 base pay
