The J&J Global Public Health/Global Community Impact (GPH/GCI) team is recruiting for a Director, Insights, Global Health Equity, based in New Brunswick, NJ, an exciting chance to create a positive difference! Consideration will be given to candidates in Jacksonville, Florida.

Are you interested in using your Insights expertise to make a difference in the world? We are searching for a dedicated, hardworking Insights leader to understand the unmet needs of patients and health workers and translate learning into actionable insights! This position will lead Insights for the MedTech and Healthcare Workforce Activation Pods serving low resource settings. Primary responsibilities will be to conduct research that uncovers deep meaningful insights, provide expert counsel to Access & Program Strategy teams, and support program implementations with insights and intelligence. These programs will increase access to quality care for people in need, strengthened by our dedication to nurses and community healthcare workers.
Responsibilities:
Craft coordinated learning plans to identify knowledge gaps and prioritize key issues. Become an expert in patient and healthcare worker needs.
Identify innovative ways to yield insight from disparate data sources and foster new methodologies to extract insights. Bring existing J&J methodologies and discover new research and analytics capabilities to strengthen the Insights function capabilities.
Ensure that GHE applies the most effective & efficient methodologies to develop and deliver strategic insights.
Inform strategic direction and impact program design of relevant Pod teams. Provide strategic counsel as in-house expert of unmet needs.
Work with external partners to identify new ways to apply insights to amplify the impact of programs improving health outcomes. Direct and manage vendors as strategic thought partners and research execution teams.
Build or maintain strong connections with internal J&J Insights resources across the business.
Influence the strategic direction of the GHE organization.
Manage a research operating budget.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Post-graduate degree in marketing research, social sciences, statistics or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive market research experience in healthcare is required. Experience in MedTech and emerging markets is preferred.
  • Technical market research and analytical expertise across a range of quantitative and qualitative techniques and business analyses.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence across a sophisticated organization to impact decision-making.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to present recommendations to senior leaders and build trusted relationships.
  • Consistent track record of leadership crafting an innovative environment!
  • Knowledge of research techniques and execution requirements in global public health settings in strongly preferred.

The base pay range for this position is $137,000 -$235,750.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
