Job Summary and Qualifications

• Responsible for the overall quality and operational activities of Environmental Services, Food & Nutritional Services, Laboratory Services, Imaging Services, and Therapy Services.
• The ADO assures the planning, directing, controlling and evaluation of the departments and hospital operations related to these departments.
• Performs responsibilities in accordance with hospital goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
• The ADO is responsible for the clinical, operational and financial management of the departments.
• The ADO will ensure appropriate clinical and operational standards are met; and policies and procedures are developed and implemented.
• The ADO will develop and review monitoring activities related to the quality of services provided. The ADO will ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting agencies.
• The ADO will oversee the departments’ operations to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of services to maximize patient, physician, and employee satisfaction.
• The ADO will manage the departments in accordance with established financial guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

Education:

• Master’s degree required in business, hospital administration or other area of study appropriate for the position.

Experience:

• 3-5 years experience in a director or leadership role in a hospital setting.
• Minimum 3 management/supervisory experience.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with others.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Continuous focus on excellence in work environment.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and to work with interruptions.

Medical City North Hills is a 165+ bed hospital located in the heart of northeast Tarrant County. Our campus has a women's imaging center and geriatric behavioral unit.
