Summary/Objective
As the Director of Global Marketing, you will lead the global efforts of the Marketing function around the world in support of the company's market strategy. You will work closely with the external communications team, sales organization, and regional leaders with the aim of translating market opportunities into tangible sales results. You will be responsible for developing and coordinating marketing campaigns and leveraging a global organization and agencies. Working with communications colleagues you will contribute to brand marketing efforts to raise awareness and visibility of Nikkiso around the world.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities

- Develop and execute a Global Marketing strategic plan, partnering with product line management, corporate and regional leadership. This plan should align with and support the broader company strategic plan and growth initiatives.
- Responsibility for Global Marketing including activities that cover branding, marketing campaigns, advertising, events, digital marketing, lead generation, partner marketing and sponsorships.
- Leverage leadership skills and experiences to continuously direct and develop marketing capabilities throughout the company including talent, structure, processes, tools, and techniques.
- Define specific goals for the marketing organization and measure the commercial and brand impact of marketing initiatives using well-defined metrics and KPIs.
- Understand the competitive landscape and define approaches to differentiate our value-propositions in the marketplace.
- Manage relationships with agencies and global Marketing staff to accelerate marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with channel partners to generate demand for our products with end-users in diverse markets.
- Manage the Global Marketing budget to plan, working closely with regional leaders to optimize marketing spend.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will supervise and provide leadership to employees in the Marketing department.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Education and Experience
- Leadership experience in a B2B marketing role at a large international corporation.
- 10+ years leading marketing efforts and teams.
- Bachelor's degree in communications or marketing. MBA preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated understanding of market differences around the world.
- Excellent leadership skills, strategic mindset, and high business acumen.
- High level of project management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with ability to build relationships and trust across the organization.
- Ability to drive change and engagement.
- Good understanding of marketing platforms and tools such as CRM, SEO, Marketing Automation, Google analytics, social media analytics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to be efficient in the role - may require up to 50% travel.
