We are seeking a highly experienced Global Strategic Sourcing Director with a strong background in IC, PCBA and semiconductor related industries. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and 5 years of management experience.
Job Duties
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for materials and components to support the business objectives of the company
- Manage the US, Taiwan and China sites for sourcing
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage supplier relationships
- Ensure quality standards and delivery schedules are met by suppliers
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize the supply chain
- Work with contract manufacturers to ensure they meet company requirements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations and best practices
Education
- Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
Experience
- Strong Sourcing background, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience
- APICS CSCP is a plus
- Management of multi-country preferred
- Bilingual English and Mandarin is strongly preferred
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or semiconductor industry is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
