Position Specific Description
This position is responsible for leading and setting the strategic direction for NextEra Analytics Energy Resource Assessment and Design Optimization product line. This will include overseeing support of renewable generation projects in various lifecycle stages including, but not limited to, green field development, acquisition, investment approval and financing support. The position is also responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge resource assessment capabilities supported by clear and effective processes and plans. A key part of this role will also involve representation of NextEra Analytics in high profile meeting settings, both externally with customers, and internally with the NextEra Energy executive team. The leader in this position will be looked upon as a pivotal subject matter expert in the field of Energy Resource assessment and design optimization and he or she will be expected to directly oversee and develop a highly talented workforce.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction in guiding various internal teams such as Application Development, Applied Math and Science to ensure timely and effective project execution within the SCRUM development framework
- Responsible for sprint planning and directing the implementation of critical and complex projects which typically involve and impacts multiple business unit stakeholders
- Plan and execute on a multi-generational product plans
- Drive, and participate in, the evaluation and implementation of continuous improvement efforts
- Develop and execute product roadmaps and strategies consistent with business unit vision
- Provide product guidance, and lead the prioritization and coordination across various internal subject matter expert groups to ensure timely and effective project execution within the Agile development framework
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: 10+ years
- Suoervisor/Management Experience: 5+ years

- Master's Degree
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
