DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Director DPS Joint Reconstruction SC Procurement, located in Raynham, MA, New Brunswick, NJ or Cork, IE!
Drive procurement activities, sourcing processes and delivery of results to meet & exceed the DePuy Synthes Joints Reconstruction Franchise procurement objectives.
The Director DPS Joint Reconstruction SC Procurement will be the Business Engagement Leader accountable to oversee the supplier base for the global DPS Joint Reconstruction Franchise representing more than $3 billion of sales annually. With projected strong growth and premier market positions the supplier base is spread across multiple categories and supporting over $600M of supplier related spend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act on the vision, strategy and implementation plan for specific key suppliers to meet the strategies set forth by the DePuySynthes Supply Chain leadership teams, the Procurement Category Leads as well as meeting the long-range requirements of the business partners and deliver the maximum value for JNJ
  • Collaborate directly with Supply Chain partners representing the supplier network, reporting on their performance and alignment to JNJ's objectives, including quality, reliability, innovation and cost.
  • Owning the holistic SC Source business plan and the related long range financial plan
  • Closely collaboration with Category leaders, who own the overall category and supplier management scope
  • Partnering and leading as full member of the end-to-end DPS Supply Chain LT as the Source delivery owner
  • Working closely with DPS Joints Business Development and R&D to support new product pipeline development upstream and product launch
  • Orchestrating the efforts of the direct categories and representing the scope of Indirect Categories, as appropriate.

Education:
  • Bachelors or Equivalent Other
Experience and Skills:
Required:
  • 10 + Years of related experience
  • Broad-based understanding of DPS business operations and practices and core Procurement areas of focus (Spend Management: Category Management and Supplier Management).
  • Customer Orientation (building and maintaining strong relationships with DPS & JNJ Senior Management
  • Strong leadership, vison and strategy setting, communication, influencing, collaboration and talent development skills
  • Strong project and change management capabilities
  • Ability to continuously improve the organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill with ability to expertly present sophisticated information
Preferred:
  • Proven Credo mind-set and behavior
  • Analytical, good judgment and decision making, problem solver
  • Proven track record of delivering against targets and objectives
  • Able to prioritize requests, and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives when vital.
Other:
  • English Fluency is required
  • 20% of international and domestic travel
  • The anticipated base pay range for US based applicants in this position is $137,000 to $235,800
  • The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
