The Role

The FI Organization is seeking a Direct Indexing Director with proven subject matter expertise with breaking down sophisticated product features into clear and concise stories to communicate to business partners and clients. This position requires the ability to collaborate across various cross functional areas including product, marketing, and distribution teams. In this role you work with a counterpart in the field to act as a liaison between Fidelity Specialists and our product teams, collecting feedback and ideas to influence our product roadmap.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA, CFA or equivalent graduate degree a plus.

  • Series 7 & 63 licenses required (pass within 90 days)

  • 5- 10 years of financial services experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • You build and maintain relationships as you work collaboratively across Fidelity to deliver business outcomes and seek out the expertise of colleagues to advise on your approach

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, problem solve and make decisions

  • You possess strong business/technical knowledge of products offered in the wealth management and asset management space

  • Experience with tax managed equities or separately managed accounts

  • Demonstrates strong investment competence and communication skills

  • Able to interact well with both external clients (advisors, shareholders, due diligence analysts, etc.) as well as internal clients (investment management, distribution, product management and senior management constituents, etc.)

  • Serve as a voice of the client for ongoing product development and execution

We are a gateway to Fidelity's broad and deep institutional investment management products and capabilities in equity, fixed-income, high-income and global asset allocation. Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
