Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the definition of the 'true' north star of the Global Quality digital vision, value creation, and milestones, in collaboration with GPS Strategy and Business Excellence & Risk Management.
  • Ensure alignment with the GPS digital vision, fostering collaboration and partnership with GPS Strategy and Business Excellence & Risk Management organization.
  • Shape the formulation of the Global Quality digital-enabled aspects of the holistic Quality Business Unit strategy, known as the "GQ Digital Strategy & Roadmap."
  • Leverage GPS digital and data literacy in partnership with GPS Strategy and Business Excellence & Risk Management team, GPS Learning, and Bl&A to build a GQ-specific digital and data literacy program as required.
  • Continuously educate and coach GQ leaders on elements of digital transformation.
  • Ensure alignment of Global Quality with all applicable elements of the GPS digital roadmap.
  • Actively participate in GPS Digital governance, supporting initiatives in the development of education to drive success.
  • Define and manage governance for Digital Strategy augmentations, adaptive funding, milestone performance, and post-execution return-on-investment.
  • Lead a team of highly motivated Data strategy and governance professionals.
  • Create a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
  • Prioritize the portfolio of data initiatives and allocate resources in collaboration with Process Stewards and Data Stewards.
  • Interface with Digitization Excellence and Digital Leads to ensure appropriate process and technology solutions are in place.
  • Develop a comprehensive multi-year Digital Literacy vision, strategy, and program roadmap aligned with GPS' Digital First ambitions and overall business strategy.
  • Establish quantifiable success metrics and measure the success of the Digital Literacy program.
  • Partner with GPS Digital Innovation, HR, Talent Acquisition, and other GPS functions to attract and develop digital talent.
  • Design and deploy effective knowledge management practices for key digital content.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate collaboration.
  • Be a conduit for digital innovation and promote a Quality Culture, embodying the company's values.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business administration, data science, or information systems. A Master's degree is highly valued and preferred.
  • 10 years+ of experience in operational management, information systems, and data science, preferably within the biopharmaceutical/life sciences industries.
  • 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, particularly in Planning or Supply Chain Excellence.
  • Significant experience and a proven track record of success in leading digital innovation teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a team of professionals capable of effectively collaborating across all levels and functions of the organization.
  • Proven leadership during times of significant change, with the ability to establish credibility and influence other executives through both formal and informal leadership.
  • Strong strategic thinking capability with a demonstrated ability to focus on executing strategic decisions while balancing conflicting priorities.
  • Proven innovation in optimizing Global Quality and generating new value-creating ideas.
  • Expertise in developing and achieving key metrics and scorecards.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, particularly in executive escalation of critical issues.
  • Outstanding capability to build alignment with senior-level business partners across the organization.
  • Strong ability to influence areas not under direct control to achieve objectives and effectively communicate challenging goals and objectives.
  • Successful track record of building, leading, and maintaining high-performing and motivated teams, earning a reputation as a strong leader.
  • Competency in developing strategic plans and directing tactical execution, including strong project management skills.
  • Exposure to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements is beneficial.
  • Enthusiasm and energy for leading transformative change.
  • Passion for helping others learn, grow, and develop.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations, align cross-functional resources, and integrate teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Keen business acumen and the ability to identify, align, and integrate innovative ideas into deployment.
