Summary and Scope:
We are looking to hire a Director, Digital Strategy (Consultative Selling Lead) onto our Chicago based Growth team. The most compelling candidates will be able to deliver a unique and compelling pitch narrative and business strategy to drive new business revenue and client logos that solve client's growth ambitions.
The individual will develop solutions that span across media, analytics, user experience and other solutions in the Rise and Quad portfolio. We are specifically seeking those with experience in one or more vertical markets including Retail, CPG, Education, Healthcare, and Direct Response brands.
This individual will report to the Chief Strategy Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle across all service lines (Media, Analytics, CX):
- Building prospect relationships through networking, trade resources, LinkedIn, corporate marketing leads, etc.
- Collaborating with counterparts on client services team to determine delivery needs
- Leading new business pitches, negotiate and close new business
- Own sales pipeline data, management, reporting, and forecasting by managing activity
- Cross functional collaboration across a variety of business units to evolve our sales strategy
- Ensure realistic and timely pipeline estimates based on data entered into Salesforce
- Work closely with the corporate marketing team to share market data and request the needed assets for success
- Display a thorough understanding of assigned target industries and Rise's competitive advantages
- Stay current on changes and best practices in performance marketing and key vertical markets
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7-10+ years sales experience
- Deep experience with digital media, advertising, direct marketing, ecommerce, web dev
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Strategic thinker with consultative selling skills and a strong eye for detail
- The ability to develop strategies and insights based on self-directed research
- Strong relationship management skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive maximum performance
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing sales opportunities using the equivalent of Salesforce technology and widely used sales methodologies
- Proven track record of sales success by meeting individual/team quarterly and annual sales goals
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Google Apps Suite (including Gmail, Google Docs, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Self-motivated and results-driven team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations
- Willing and able to travel 25% or more
