Form of workPrimary Purpose:
Direct, supervise, support, and provide administration direction for district facilities planning and capital improvement projects. Facilitate and Assist the district, district administration, and the Board of Trustees regarding Long Range Master Facilities Planning, Demographics and Facility Utilization. Direct, supervise, and support the district's Facility Use processes to include Board policy and district guidelines for facility rentals to non-school groups. Assist campus administration, Hutto ISD Athletics, and the Community Ed program with facility planning and use to include HISD Memorial Stadium and other appropriate venues
identified for special events.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification
Bachelor's degree in related field with comparable school-based operations experience.
Master's degree from an accredited college or university, preferred.
Must be able to meet the district vehicle liability policy requirements and maintain a current Texas driver's license.
Special Knowledge/Skills
Skill in conducting group presentations.
Skill in mediation/facilitation of group/individual problem resolution.
Ability to interpret schematic document plans and specifications.
Ability to solve complex problems and build consensus.
Ability to develop and implement long-range plans.
Knowledge of acceptable property casualty practices and standards.
Knowledge of general Texas Education Agency rules and regulations.
Knowledge of schematic design, working with design development documents.
Skill in implementing communication and collaboration between and among various areas of the organization to enhance service delivery, program development, and customer satisfaction.
Skill in implementing integration and interaction of vertical and horizontal systems to guarantee the support of high student achievement and customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of "fast growth districts" unique growth needs.
Knowledge in bond planning preferred.
Knowledge of campus and district health and safety guidelines at the state and federal levels.
Experience
Minimum of seven years related experience, including three years in a supervisory capacity
