Are you an experienced technology leader, who excels at building strong relationships, solving problems, driving innovation, and guiding teams toward success? We are seeking an experienced Director of Community Connect to help lead the success of our Connect program.

In this role, you would drive the strategy, optimization, and support of our offering, as well as lead teammates toward a common goal. You would bring your demonstrated ability to create and sustain successful relationships, foster a culture of innovation and creativity, identify and implement sustainable solutions, and communicate across all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.

Responsible for managing the Community Connect & Affiliate IT relationships between SSM Health and external organizations, as well as leading a team of account managers and specialists to support the relationship, strategy, and offering. Primary external relationships will be with established Connect organization, although additional Connect hospitals and clinics may be added. This role will support all technologies as necessary to support the relationship between the Connect organization and SSM Health. Experience as a leader of Community Connect is required. This is a remote role and does have some state limitations to where you can reside.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads and manages the IT relationship between SSM Health and the Connect organization.
  • Leads and supports a team of Account Managers and Specialists.
  • Drives the strategy and optimization of the Connect offering.
  • Meets and interacts with Connect stakeholders at all levels, on an ongoing basis.
  • Defines, plans, tracks and manages key resources.
  • Leads Connect related projects and programs.
  • Ensures the tracking and completion of work at the site, region, and system level.
  • Works with fellow leaders and teams to prioritize and complete work.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education.


Experience:

  • Seven years' experience, with five years' in leadership experience with Epic Community Connect.

Job Summary:

Oversees the management, administration and strategy of multiple applications, providing leadership and guidance to application level leaders. Supports the system strategic projects and personally owns key information technology efforts. A key consultant with electronic health record system expertise, business acumen and internal and external environment awareness.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
