Job Summary
Enterprise Communications & Marketing is responsible for the development and implementation of public, social and media relations, brand, digital operations, and executive communications strategies to advance business and reputation goals. Encompasses brand journalism, public relations and awareness building strategies, national, trade and social media relations, thought leadership, crisis communications, reputation and issues management, website development, executive communications, and enterprise brand.
The Director of Financial & Legal Communications will lead development of internal and external communications strategies and initiatives for the company’s Finance, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance & Quality teams.
We are looking for someone who thinks proactively and with creativity; can navigate high-stakes situations with diplomacy, critical thinking and a can-do attitude; and enjoys putting pen to paper to get the job done.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage internal communications and events for company’s Finance and Legal organizations, and oversees the development and execution of transformational change communications
Partner with CEO, CFO and Investor Relations team to prepare and execute financial communications, including earnings, annual meetings, and Annual reports
Build an executive thought leadership program identifying and establishing a voice for senior leaders in Finance and Legal, and arranging visibility opportunities at key conferences, events and external platforms
Partner across the communications teams to development messaging and external positioning for sensitive reputational issues, litigation
Produce and implement strategic communications in a variety of formats (earnings disclosures, press releases, reactive media statements, thought leadership content for social media and company-owned Newsroom, social media copy, and web copy)
Provide strategic communications counsel to senior leaders, communications colleagues and other internal stakeholders
Excellent media relations and press outreach capabilities
Qualifications
Strong communicator, who is articulate, high energy, decisive and agile in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. A self-starter who can look around corners, identify what needs doing, and go do it. Enjoys working with others and maintains a sense of humor in times of stress
10-15 years of experience, including in-house and/or agency
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to be clear and concise and pay close attention to detail. Writing expertise is highly preferred
Ability to navigate and thrive in a large, complex, global organization
Strong financial and business acumen driven by natural curiosity
Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines and expectations of internal and external stakeholders
Proven ability to build relationships and make connections externally (journalists, conference organizers, local influencers)

Anticipated salary range: $112,500 - $181,650
