Job Description
The role of the Director, Client Strategy – Multicultural Sales will be an independent, proactive thinker who will directly generate new advertising sales of Refuel Agency’s media tactics including Digital, Media & Print. This role will work closely with the VP, Growth & Strategy and Market Leaders to ensure account coverage, prospecting levels, proposal activity and closed sales goals are being met. Play a leading role in driving agency revenue, winning new client agency of record business, and telling the Refuel Agency story.
Primary Activities and Responsibilities:
- Identify, uncover, and develop brand direct relationships to win agency of record [AOR] opportunities and generate revenue and profit for Refuel Agency
- Identify lead, and manage the RFI/RFP submission process for new business submissions
- Prospect and develop new customer relationships, persuasively communicates strategies for meeting customer needs
- Up selling and leveraging business from new and established customer relationships
- Drives for revenue goal attainment, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Develop and deliver custom sales presentations
- Determines sales opportunity pricing based on guidelines from management
- Ensures customer satisfaction by facilitating all aspects of the customer's account in cooperation with internal team
- Excellent ability to properly qualify projects to maximize an efficient sales cycle

Job Requirements
- Highly experienced in media and multicultural ad agency industry
- Proven experience working directly to win agency of records [AOR] business.
- Ability to self-generate leads
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office- including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Experience with CRM platforms, and comfortable working in a data-driven sales environment
- Energetic & motivated with an Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for new business development
- High acumen for consultative selling
- Highly motivated and results-oriented
- Ability to successfully build relationships both internally and externally is vital to success in this role
- Detail oriented, passionate, and thrives in fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential

- In addition, troubleshooting and organizational skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements is essential
Qualifications:
- 5+ years ad agency sales experience
- Experience calling on advertiser brands direct
- Experience selling OOH, digital, email, print, and/or radio media
- Strong understanding of operational structure for digital media buying
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in marketing, public relations, business or communications or relevant job experience
Other Requirements:
- Up to 15 % travel as needed.
- Seasonality of the business may require additional work hours.
