Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration
- Implement behavior support plans and strategies to promote positive behaviors
- Engage individuals in social and recreational activities
- Accompany individuals to appointments, community outings, and other activities as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and individual progress
- Collaborate with a team of professionals including nurses, social workers, and therapists
Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed (e.g., lifting individuals, moving equipment)
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals, families, and team members
- Ability to follow established systems and protocols for providing care and support

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
