Responsibilities:
- Provide Direct Support and care to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene
- Create a safe and supportive environment for individuals in your care
- Engage individuals in meaningful activities and promote their independence
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and any changes in behavior or health
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals of all ages
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and practices is a plus
- Ability to perform tasks such as meal preparation, childcare, and medication administration
- Willingness to work in various settings, including residential homes, nursing homes, or community-based programs
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
