Job Summary:
The Direct Support Professional will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily living activities. This includes but is not limited to personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, transportation, and community integration. The Direct Support Professional will work closely with the individuals, their families, and other members of the support team to ensure that the individuals' needs are met and their goals are achieved.
Available Positions:

• 8:00am - 12:00pm (Part-time)
• 2:00pm - 8:00pm (Part-time)
• 10:00pm - 6:00am (Part-time)

Wage:

• Base Pay $14.00 per hour
• 2nd shift - additional $0.50 per hour
• 3rd shift - additional $1.00 per hour
• Fill-in pay - additional $1.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community events
• Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
• Assist with budgeting and money management
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Document daily activities and progress towards goals
• Attend team meetings and participate in individual planning sessions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations

Physical Demands:
The Direct Support Professional must be able to lift and transfer individuals as needed, and perform other physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching. The position may require standing or sitting for extended periods of time, and may involve exposure to infectious diseases.
Work Schedule:
The Direct Support Professional will work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position may require on-call availability.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
