Our successful professionals enjoy helping others and taking care of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
You will provide care based on the abilities of each resident and assist the residents in developing skills to reach their personal maximum ability. Our care workers also help maintain optimal hygienic standards with the resident and their environment.
Full-time and part-time positions are available with 8-hour shifts. Some weekends required. Overtime is not required but available. We offer a competitive rate of $18.78 to $20.28, depending upon shift, plus an additional weekend shift differential, more than 5 weeks of paid personal days each year, great health and dental plan options, short- and long-term disability, and an annual retention bonus and other incentives.

Our thriving community of residents and staff enjoy living or working on our picturesque 60-acre campus that includes 13 modern group homes located 45 minutes south of Chicago just north of Momence, Illinois.

POSITION HOURS:
Full-time Evening Shift: 4 pm to midnight
Full-time Midnight Shift: Midnight to 8 am
Some weekend work is required.
Overtime is available but not required.
Incentive pay for becoming authorized to pass medications.
Annual retention bonus

On-site Supervisor on duty 24 hours
Part-time positions are 8-hour shifts.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL USE AND DEVELOP:
Recent grads encouraged to apply. Previous experience with the developmentally disabled population is a plus, but not a requirement. We provide the training and support you need to connect and make a difference with this amazing group of men!
You become registered as a Direct Support Professional with the Illinois Department of Public Health once you have successfully completed training. CNA's or people in pursuit of a healthcare degree are encouraged to apply.
In addition to developing care giving skills as a healthcare professional, you will also enhance lifelong job skills in working as part of a team and developing your interpersonal and communication skills along with organizational and time management abilities.
REQUIREMENTS:
18 years of age or older
High school degree or GED
Valid Driver's license
