TOP PAY FOR OUR FIELD! LOOKING FOR A CAREER CHANGE? CHECK US OUT! We are seeking Direct Support Professionals / CNA's/PCA's to join our team! You would work 1:1 with individuals who live independently in their own homes. We are currently hiring for the following shifts:
Sleep overnights 10pm to 6am
Sleep overnights 10pm to 8am
6:30am to 3pm (No weekends, 3-4 shifts weekly)
Various PT flexible daytime hours
Various PT flexible evening hours
We can combine hours to put together a schedule that works for you!
Training provided.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal planning and meal preparation
- Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
- Encourage and support leisure activities at home and in the community
- Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
- Complete required documentation as directed
- Support and/or provide medical needs of individuals according to their needs
- Must be able to work closely with individuals while demonstrating professional boundaries at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in personal care or other related fields especially in mental health field and/or CNA/PCA experience
- Compassionate and caring demeanor w/ the ability to work well with others as well as independently
- Ability to build rapport with clients while demonstrating and maintaining professional boundaries at all times
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to compose detailed shift note after each shift worked
- Must pass MN Dept of Human Services Background Study
