Direct Support Professional (Dsp) 3 Hrs/Wk, Ihs, Chanhassen

Job Summary

Metropolitan Community Services (MCS) has a Direct Support Professional (DSP) position to fill immediately. This individual is looking for a female DSP (IHS with training) for 3 hours/week in the Chanhassen area.

She'd like the DSP to help with the following:

• Accompany to community for grocery shopping, and errands
• Assist with completing paperwork
• Support with other independent living skills

Responsibilities and Duties

• Transportation
• Assisting with independent living skills
• Documenting on monthly outcome

Requirements:

• English-speaker
• Calm demeanor
• Experience as a DSP
• Pass a background check

Additional Details:

• Please allow up to 4 business days for your application to be processed.
• All hired DSP's will be provided training that is available online.
• MCS doesn't reimburse for mileage at this time.
• MCS is a non-profit organization.

**The individual also has 4 hours/week of PCA that pays at $18/hour; so the applicant can apply for this position too.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 per week

Schedule:

• No nights

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Required)
• documentation: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Chanhassen, MN: Relocate before starting work (Required)
