Direct Support Professional At Group Home

F4L is hiring Direct Support Professionals for our Bountiful location. We are looking for responsible, caring, and compassionate individuals to join our growing team! If you have experience as a DSP or are interested in starting a career in Direct Support, nursing, or caregiving, we would love to chat with you about the details of this position.

Pay & Shift Details:

• $12.50-15.00/hr.
• Available shifts: 3-9 PM, Grave (9 PM - 9 AM)

Job Duties:

The ideal job candidate will be highly dependable and have a passion for serving those with physical and/or mental disabilities. Job duties include the following:

• Assisting clients achieve their goals
• Engaging clients in fun and fulfilling activities at home and in the community
• Assisting clients meet their daily needs, including (but not limited to) nutrition, hygiene, exercise, communication, socialization, (as necessary), etc
• Cooking meals for up to 3 clients
• Assisting clients with medications
• Tracking client progress through documentation
• Transporting clients
• Following health and safety protocols required by Friends4Life and the state of Utah
• Housekeeping/cleaning and allowing clients to participate when appropriate
• Supporting and upholding client legal rights by observing the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
• Become properly trained and certified as the job requires (Obtaining CPR Certification and Food Handlers Permit)

Minimum Requirements

• Pass a background screening
• Provide a valid Driver License/State ID or passport as well as a social security card
• Ability to move and stand for prolonged periods and sometimes perform physically demanding tasks
