Direct Support Professional And Mentor

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professional. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to a young man with autism. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on his life.

Responsibilities:
- Provide Direct Support and assistance
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Support in developing social skills and fostering independence
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and individual progress
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of Direct Support techniques and best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing needs
