We are looking for a dedicated support staff member who is ready to make a difference in the lives of two (2) individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism while in their homes and in the community. This person will be responsible for supporting and working with both individuals.

General Summary: As a Direct Support Professional, your main goal is to empower our adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live active and fulfilling lives in their own homes and local community while assisting them with the activities of daily living.
Our consumers: Our consumers are siblings who live together in Harrisburg. They require a combined 8 hours per week of assistance. Both siblings live independent lives and require assistance getting to and from places in their community. One sibling likes to work out at the gym and is looking for a place to volunteer their time in the community. Both siblings also enjoy going out to eat and going shopping.

Salary: $16.00 per hour

Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license (out of state license must be converted to a Pennsylvania license within 6 months of hire)
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, drug screening, criminal background check, and driver history check
Salary: $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday and Thursday; 8 hours per week
- Monday - 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm (one sibling)
- Thursday - 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm (both siblings)
