SalarySeeking an upbeat, energetic Direct Support Professionals for the Carlisle Pa. area starting pay $17.00 up to 18.00 per hour these are considered Part-time opportunities but can work with multiple clients to secure full time hours! Most of the individuals enjoys movies , bowling , going to library, art, and crafts as well as swimming, boundaries and working on routine chore . Some would require assistance in helping them be more independent skills boundaries and working on routine chores within the home and supervised while out of the home.
Must have reliable transportation
```Duties```
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs
- Assist some individuals with activities, meal preparation,
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining social skills and relationships
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
- Document and report any significant changes or incidents to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Previous experience in Direct Support preferred
- Knowledge of resident rights and person-centered care principles
- Familiarity with working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
