In need of a Direct Service Trainee for a group home in Benton.
The Direct Service Trainee provides day-to-day supervision and living skills instruction for the residents.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Providing training and support for residents to help them attain maximum independence and maintenance of appropriate documentation.
- Provide transportation for service recipients as needed.
- Provide personal care/physical assistance to residents as needed.
- Supports the strategic goals and mission/vision/values of Centerstone at all times when interacting with clients, co-workers, and professionals from other organizations and presents a positive and professional demeanor.
- Monitor service recipient progress in treatment and participate in treatment plan reviews as assigned. Update treatment plans as appropriate. Submit treatment plans at all stages for medical review.
- Completes all required documentation legibly, accurately, and in a timely fashion.
- Assist service recipients in developing an individualized treatment plan. Must be person-centered, family-centered, and service centered.
- Monitor service recipient progress in treatment and participate in treatment plan reviews as assigned.
- Update treatment plans as appropriate. Submit treatment plans at all stages for medical review, if applicable.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Covid Vaccination required.
- TB testing is also required.
- Must meet requirements for DSP (Direct Support Professional) designation and Rule 116 requirements for medication administration within a 90-day probationary period.
- Must successfully complete all required background checks and screenings and post-offer physical and other background checks prior to hire date.
- Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification
- Must complete all required training within a 90 period. Required training is dependent on position and location.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a good driving record.
