Home Care Associates of Philadelphia is a locally based, employee-owned homecare cooperative. We specialize in providing comprehensive personal and post-acute care to qualified consumers in the comfort of their homes.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking professional, caring, and compassionate Direct Care Workers who will be trained in the art of caregiving and employed as a part of our caring homecare family.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Establishing a Trusting and Reliable Relationship,
- Scheduling, Planning and Accompanying Consumers to Appointments, Social Activities and Entertainment,
- Assisting with Rehabilitative Care,
- Assisting with Personal Care including, Bathing, Toileting, Grooming and Dressing,
- Assisting in Planning, Preparing, Feeding and Serving Meals,
- Organizing and Completing Tasks Outlined in the Consumer’s Plan of Care,
- Performing Light Housekeeping, Laundry, and Grocery Shopping,
- Observing, Recording and Reporting Visible Changes in the Consumer’s Physical, Mental and Environmental Conditions.
