Direct Care Support For Mh Residential Program

We treat patients with common mental health needs such as anxiety and depression, in an inpatient/residential setting located in Downey, California. We are looking to add dedicated team members who are detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and empathetic toward helping our residents return to functional independence. Different shifts are available as listed below. Must have previously passed a LiveScan federal fingerprint background check or be able to pass one upon hire.

Schedules Available:

• AM Full Time - Day Shift is from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM - TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY or SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY
• AM Part Time Shift - 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM - FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY
• PM Full Time Shift - 4:00 PM -12:30 AM - TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY or SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY
• PM Part Time Shift - 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM - FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY
• MID-SHIFT 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM - MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
• MID-SHIFT 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM - SATURDAY AND SUNDAYS
• OVERNIGHT Full Time Shift - 12:00AM - 8:30 AM - MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
• OVERNIGHT Part Time Shift - 12:00AM - 8:30 AM - FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY

Salary: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Intake
• Patient Care
• Client rounds every 30 min
• Use of EHR & documentation throughout shift
• Medication dispensing/observation & record keeping
• Behavioral intervention/de-escalation
• Housekeeping

Experience

• Residential treatment program / Mental health patient care / substance abuse Direct Care staff (1) year preferred
• Must have a car as there is no public transportation availability
