Direct Care Professional/Home Care Aide/Cna

Compassionate Home Health Care is currently seeking DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS (DSP's)/CNA/Home Health Aide to care for a client in his home in the New Castle area. Experience working with the disabled preferred, but not required.

Hiring all shifts! SIGN-ON BONUS OF UP TO $1200! 

*All new hires will complete a PAID ON SITE TRAINING PROGRAM that will review all functions of residential day to day care, CPR, Hoyer training, lifting, transferring and daily care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) e.g. cleaning, cooking, laundry, and personal care hygiene.
• Monitor, document and report any changes in individuals, emotional, physical, and mental health in a timely manner.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and clean environment for the individual and yourself.
• Prior experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors is desired.
• Acts to prevent potential crisis situations and implements behavior support plan.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to pass criminal background check
• CPR Certification preferred, but company will provide training
• Must be willing to work 2 weekends per month
