Pleasant Vine Home Care is a dynamic healthcare agency in Pennsylvania serving Montgomery, Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester, and other surrounding counties in Pennsylvania. We are passionate about helping the elderly and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live a dignified and comfortable life in their own homes. We provide family caregiver services, personal care, in-home and community support/ companionship, and group home/residential services. We are licensed with OLTL and ODP, and contracted with Keystone First CHC, PA Health and Wellness, Amerihealth Caritas, and UPMC. We provide high quality, pleasant, and compassionate care that gives our clients peace of mind.

Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement individualized care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of residents
- Promote and maintain resident rights, privacy, and dignity
- Document and report any changes in residents' behavior or health status
- Assist with transportation to appointments and community outings
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to create a positive and supportive environment for residents

Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with transfers using proper lifting techniques
- Understanding of autism spectrum disorders is a plus
- Experience in community living homes or related field is beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
