SalaryWe are looking for a Dining RoomHost to join our team and be the first point of contact for our guests for the rest of our 2024 season. This is a seasonal position. Our season is April 1 to Nov 1 each year. We will have orientation during the last week of March before we open.
Shift available: 7am-3pm and 2pm to 10pm, 5 to 6 days a week.
Host/Hostess responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Manage reservations
- Escort customers to assigned dining area
- Provide menus and announce Server’s name
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (ex: children, elderly)
- Address customers’ queries
- Assist Servers as needed
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
* Some on site housing dorm rooms shared with another employee available if needed.*
