Access Hollywood Digital is hiring a Digital Video Producer to join our talented team of original and news content creators. If you love entertainment news then this is the role for you.
The ideal candidate is a digital journalist who is experienced in writing scripts, reporting and sourcing information, collecting assets, producing and editing Digital Video. A passion for entertainment news, celebrities, pop culture, interviewing celebrities is a must.
You have experience working in a digital news publishing environment, can break down complex legal entertainment news, have fun and fresh ideas for creating original digital franchises.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in digital entertainment video production, proven video editing skills, and a clear understanding of the key difference between traditional media and digital-first content. On-camera talent is not required, but experience behind the camera, working as a reporter/producer/journalist on red carpets or entertainment-related events is a plus.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Create multiple Digital Video news packages with voiceover narration from start to finish, including reporting, writing, collecting assets/b-roll, producing and editing video.
- Proficient In Adobe Premiere, After Affects
- Optimizing video formats for distribution across platforms and have a storytelling capability.
- On occasion, write articles and create galleries to be posted on-site
- Attend red carpet events to interview talent, operate camera, field shoot production and original content creation.
- Optimize video formats for distribution - be able to create concise, interesting stories with a fun voice
- Optimize content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
- Contribute to team brainstorms by pitching content ideas that will help build video views, on-site and off-site traffic and audience
Basic Requirements:
- At least 4 years of production experience on any platform with a minimum of 4 years' experience in digital.
- BA or BS from a four-year accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
- Working experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects.)
- Excellent writing skills
- Must be able to write articles for website
- Ability to shoot footage on DSLR camera
