This position is responsible for the execution of defined services that supports hotels with necessary digital marketing and operational tactics.
The Digital Specialist Manager, Digital Field Marketing, Southern Europe role will ensure completion of defined tasks as requested by the hotels who participate in select Digital Field Marketing packages and services valid across Southern Europe region.
The role requires a focus in ensuring hotels are aligned to global compliancy and ensuring approved content is updated across e specific digital platforms and channels, provide monthly automated reports to participating hotels, support social media marketing and destination marketing campaigns through email marketing to maximize online presence that attribute to the hotels performance.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in an online agency, client services position or hotel marketing is required or equivalent experience.
- Diploma in marketing or related field or equivalent certification from higher education.
- Strong workflow management skills and experience in content management systems.
- Organized, detail-oriented and deadline-sensitive; takes initiative and anticipates needs.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Portuguese and/or Catalan of advantage.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Managing Work, Projects, and Policies
Delivers against all aspects of the Digital Marketing program and associated services for hotels and the area. This includes:
Implementing and managing the Hotel Web Sites on Marriott.com and Global sites
- Maintain and update all Marriott.com Hotel Web Site content.
- Conduct audit of Marriott.com Hotel Web Sites with defined score and areas of improvement.
- Update EPIC fields associated to hotels website pages.
- Ensure Hotels online positioning is up to date and correct.
- Update and load photography into Marriott asset library ensuring correct compliancy.
- Support with link and PDF loading on hotel websites.
- Update alert and emergency messaging
- Load hotels offers as directed by hotel team and continent team.
- Ensure Tripadvisor and GMB listing, and updates as needed from hotel.
- 3rd Party listings (OTA’s) and content scores updates to hotels.
- Add content as directed through Marriott systems.
- Liaise and work with hotels with detailed feedback on content audits and scores.
Email Marketing Support
- Collate, create, and execute monthly METT email campaigns per markets
- Securing the METT date in the METT calendar with the confirmation from ADMDL per market.
- Building a dedicated landing page to be used for METT
- Build offers into MBOP as required
Destination Marketing Support
- Collect content and information for all market campaigns.
- Coordinate and ensure the development of tactical landing pages.
- Testing and optimization of continent and regional campaigns.
- Provide landing pages to appropriate teams for paid media execution.
- Support the set up and management of paid and social media campaigns as needed.
- Compile reporting and recommendations for all campaigns.
