Purpose:
- Full-time remote position in Americas (Canada or US)
- Ability to travel domestically and international (US/Canada) as approved by project.
- The principal accountability of the role is to maintain and enhance the delivery for AVEVA E3D in accordance industry best practices and Customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- This is a customer facing role that covers system setup, administration and problem resolution, and the use of application technologies to deliver improvements and efficiencies to engineering design activities promoting enablement of an operational Digital Twin environment.
- Managing and creating reporting options through the project lifecycle.
- AVEVA E3D Administration including creating symbology, filters, reports, templates, system maintenance, etc.
- Manage and support Laser Scans in the AVEVA E3D Model
- Development of automation enhancements and/or custom requirements
- Identifying potential areas where procedures / work instructions require a change or where new ones need to be developed.
- Support projects to develop AVEVA E3D Execution Plan, Specification.
- Balancing the focus of day to day, operational systems management with the requirement to foster future readiness and a climate for innovation
- User education and training for new hires and end users to become proficient with AVEVA E3D modules and / or integration with other Data-Centric Tools such as Hexagon and AVEVA.
- Scheduling and prioritizing work to accommodate user needs with minimum impact
- Ensuring application developments or changes are fully tested
- Continually seeking opportunities to increase user satisfaction
- Documenting changes, processes and lessons learned
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
- Project experience of AVEVA E3D Administration, Cats & Specs, customization, drawings reports, AVEVA Global, and Database Integrity checking
- Experience in AVEVA E3D / PDMS administration and development
- Experience in a petrochemical / Oil & Gas engineering environment preferred
- Engineering and/or construction industry experience is preferred
- Significant experience with multi-disciplinary design in complex / major projects for both greenfield and brownfield operations.
- Experience working in virtual teams supporting a global community.
- Strong aptitude for project planning and implementation of new design software
- Knowledge and experience of integrating and usage of other data-centric solutions.
- Completion of administration and user training for AVEVA E3D
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated and self-directed with strong communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Data-centric Delivery
- Proficiency in a common CAD drafting or graphics tool (e.g., AutoCAD and MicroStation).
- Knowledge of LFM would be an Asset
- Understanding of Work sharing and distributed execution of a AVEVA E3D project with other Worley Offices
- Strong fundamental knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction and home office and site planning requirements.
- Deep understanding of project requirements, deliverables, and workflows.
Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
- Ideally be Degree qualified or have the equivalent.
Preferred:
- Significant relevant working experience in a similar position in the EPC / EPCM industry.
