POSITION SUMMARY
The Digital Product Specialist is responsible for contributing to the profitable, rapid, and sustainable growth of Alterra Mountain Company's digital marketing channels. The ADPM will have accountability for the growth, maintenance and management of key Alterra Mountain Company digital properties and experiences, with a focus on customer experience, marketplace strategy, and analysis during the customer's consideration and purchase phases.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
General Responsibilities
  • Serve as subject matter expert for destinations CMSs features and functionality
  • Listen to destination needs and recommend CMS feature for all Alterra destinations' websites to manager
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience, along with a basic understanding of system integrations and dependencies to implement scalable solutions
  • Develop tactics that enhance customer experience leveraging customer feedback, online trends, benchmarking, marketing/brand activities, click/usage data and tech advancements
  • Translate business requirements into user stories for the design and/or development teams to implement
  • Author business requirements and partner with execution teams to deliver projects
  • Assist in pre-release User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Define and refine web strategy across all focus areas, looking for continuous improvement of the user experience.
  • Works with user experience, design, and technology partners/teams to envision products that are usable and can be socialized and concept tested with resort teams
  • Works with the rest of the product team to socialize product vision, strategy, roadmap and key initiatives with stakeholders and teams.
  • Prioritize ADA requirements and implementation strategy.
  • Possesses forward-thinking and consistently explores emerging digital trends
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2-4 years of digital marketing product management experience
  • Proven experience working with multi-departmental teams in creating and delivering online services and features
  • Ability to maintain, prioritize, and sequence the product backlog based on business value or ROI.
  • Proven ability to apply an analytical and data-driven approach to solving complex problems, building business cases, and justifying projects.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and develop solutions and communicate across all levels of the organization effectively.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build and maintain effective relationships with internal team members and other stakeholders and partners.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Availability for very rare work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • College degree in communications, marketing, psychology, or analytics preferred

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc.'s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Denver area base salary range: $57,000-$84,000 per year
