Salem Media Group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Digital Media Sales Executive to join our team, selling customized digital tools and assets to the Church market to help grow their local congregations and enhance their technical proficiency in Digital Media, marketing, and overall brand growth in their communities and online.

Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Identify, target, and engage churches (nation/world-wide) as potential clients.
- Create and implement a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets and daily/weekly call quota’s.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay a step ahead of the competition.
- Find qualified Church leads and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to signed contract and solution onboarding.
Consultative Selling & Technical Expertise
- Understand the unique challenges and objectives of churches in growing their congregation and improving their digital footprint.
- Customize solutions to address the specific needs and goals of each church prospect and client.
- Provide consultative guidance and online demonstrations to showcase the value of Salem Media Group digital solutions for Church growth and impact.
- Develop a deep understanding of all Salem Media Group digital solutions, including website development, social media, paid digital marketing, geo-targeting, email, SMS marketing, and the basics of digital fundraising.
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients as needed.
Relationship Building
- Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with church leaders and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with churches to ensure successful adoption and implementation of our solutions.
- Work across Salem Media Group divisions to collaborate and serve a wide variety of individual Church/client needs that arise.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in CRM systems, billing/contracting software, etc.
- Prepare regular sales reports of current activity and revenue projections.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field with 1-2 years of sales experience, preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to Pastors and Church personnel.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for helping churches grow.
- Knowledge of the faith community and an understanding of their unique needs.
- Experience in Digital Media Sales, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge and interest in digital marketing and leading-edge technology, including products and applications such as:
- Search Engine Marketing, Audience and Search Retargeting, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Management, Social Media Markeitng, Digital (Programmatic) Dispaly, Website Development, Live Chat, Email Marketing.
- The successful candidate will be smart, curious, tenacious, entrepreneurial, independent, passionate and enthusiastic, enjoy the thrill of the hunt by bringing in new business.
- Proficiency in prospecting and effective listening skills .
- Great problem solving and analytical abilities and strong business acumen.
- Strong understanding of the local market, marketing concepts, and Digital Media.

Compensation: $16.83 base + commission
