Job Overview:
The Blue Ridge Consultants (https://www.blueridge.cx) team is seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join our team as a Marketing Specialist. This role will be responsible for managing our company's presence on various social media platforms, handling e-mail communications, marketing content creation, and marketing activities across multiple channels.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, creative, and have a strong understanding of Digital Marketing strategies. This position is 100% remote and work-from-home. We envision this being 25-30 hours per week, part-time and working 8AM-1PM ET, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the company's LinkedIn presence, including creating and curating content, engaging with followers, and growing the company's network.
- Handle LinkedIn communications, including responding to messages, comments, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Manage our Twitter/X presence, posting updates, engaging with followers, and monitoring industry trends and conversations.
- Utilize marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot) to execute marketing campaigns, track performance metrics, and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
- Run the Zift / Atlassian incentive campaigns and assist employees with completing tasks
- Engage other Atlassian partners and host webinars about various products and updates in the industry
- Create marketing emails for business customers, including designing templates, writing compelling copy, and segmenting email lists for targeted outreach.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop integrated marketing campaigns that align with company goals and target audience preferences.
- Monitor social media channels and marketing platform analytics to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into strategies as appropriate.
- Assist in creating and maintaining content calendars, ensuring consistent messaging and brand voice across all channels.
- Support other marketing initiatives as needed, including content creation, event promotion, and website updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media, Digital Marketing, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Twitter / X.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to create engaging content and interact with followers in a professional manner.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and email marketing software (e.g., ZiftONE).
- Familiarity with basic design principles and graphic design tools for creating visual content.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and generate insights to optimize performance.
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas for content and campaigns.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, 100% remote, team-oriented environment.
