APTIM's Marketing and Communications team seeks an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist, specializing in email marketing, to serve as a key driver in the development of performance-driven marketing campaigns that address specific marketing objectives and elicit customer action. The ideal candidate has successfully managed both broad- and narrow- focused Digital Marketing campaigns (ongoing and short-term) for user engagement and lead generation. Additionally, they have developed best practices for organizing, segmenting, tracking, and scoring users/contacts via a customer relationship management (CRM) tool, email platforms, created funnels (drip campaigns), and A/B testing for optimal user experience. They will know how to write compelling content for different audiences and have a basic understanding of landing page optimization, search engine optimization, social media marketing and advertising, and graphic design. Lastly, they have a history of collaborating with sales and business development professionals to ensure that sales and marketing strategies align.
The Digital Marketing Specialist is a confident, self-motivated teammate who will not hesitate to jump in and work alongside team members on projects and tasks of all levels. This role will be required to research and define desired target audiences, manage content creation and publishing process, and monitor consumer and content metrics. The Digital Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Digital Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Meet with APTIM business groups to discover opportunities and determine sales and marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to ideate and define email, Digital Marketing, and lead generation goals to support sales and marketing objectives.
- Work alongside the Digital Marketing Manager to develop and execute programs to generate pipeline through lead-generation initiatives including retargeting, content syndication, nurture programs, social media, email campaigns, and webinars.
- Design and execute multivariate testing for emails and landing pages.
- Develop and manage email marketing calendars and ensure that our funnel and touchpoints remain consistent across all platforms.
- Use data analytics to measure, analyze, and report on campaign performance, and asses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Participate in the optimization of content for email, digital ads, social media platforms, and websites.
- Grow high-quality followers and build engagement across our main social channels: LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Strong creative skills and the ability to transform complex information into engaging content.
- Keep up to date with content trends, consumer preferences, and advancements in technology.
- Execute new and creative collaborations among technologies and platforms.
- Identify new opportunities to improve Digital Marketing processes.
- Assist with event coordination, trade show events, and other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, communications, or another relevant field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in marketing, communications, content creation, or similar roles; experience in the AEC, Environmental, and Energy sectors is a plus.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing marketing calendars, workflows, and deadlines.
- Highly analytical yet creative skillset with the ability to evaluate information, define challenges or objectives, formulate logical and objective conclusions, and develop solutions.
- Keen attention to detail, the ability to coordinate multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
- Proven ability to manage and move forward multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- Ability to analyze and interpret customer data.
- Experience with email marketing tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Salesforce Pardot), MailChimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact, etc.
- Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.
- Basic HTML code writing skills.
- Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Experience utilizing generative artificial intelligence (AI) is a plus.
- Proficient in writing for various audiences.
- Must have solid proficiency with Microsoft Office; proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
