Position Overview
We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to support Digital Marketing efforts across a range of activities and platforms. This role will develop, implement, and manage email and SMS marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud including managing lead scoring, nurture sequences, content messaging, and more.
This person will play a critical role in the day-to-day execution of Digital Marketing with a focus on:
- Monitoring processes and data flow to ensure accuracy
- Supporting the execution of marketing activities across email, SMS, web, and other channels.
- Assisting in the business requirements, development, and adoption of additional phases in the SFMC implementation
- Managing reporting and analytics on the marketing automation campaigns
- Maintaining data hygiene and adhering to CAN-SPAM and other regulatory/compliance laws
The ideal candidate has a track record in supporting Digital Marketing efforts across a range of areas in entrepreneurial multi-unit B2C businesses. This is a remote role but ideally located within one of the C2 Education markets and reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop, implement, and execute email/SMS campaigns, including list management, email creation, and campaign execution
- Support the implementation of the Salesforce marketing automation platform as well as segmentation and customer journeys
- Work with our implementation provider on the development and refinement of our lead scoring model
- Perform basic website auditing and maintenance
- Support broader marketing initiatives and campaigns across paid digital, organic, social, in-center, etc.
- Monitor daily processes to identify and resolve issues
- Gain an understanding of our core marketing processes and data flow to support upcoming initiatives
Qualifications
Skills, Experience, and Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Marketing or related field preferred
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Pardot preferred
- Experience with HTML/CSS; WordPress; GA4; social media platforms; Microsoft Office, preferably with advanced Excel skills; basic SQL; project management
- Basic Photoshop and Illustrator skills
- Detail-oriented and able to recognize data trends or anomalies
- Flexibility to handle changes in project priorities
- Problem solver with a desire to continually learn
