Job Description
The Paid Search Manager will be the central location for all Paid Search marketing. This role will be responsible for planning, optimizing, implementing, and analyzing paid and organic search engine marketing activities. They will be at the forefront of new search technologies. The position is the key to future company growth and will be responsible for the top-to-bottom coordination of all of our pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns. The ideal candidate must possess a keen understanding of Paid Search.
Responsibilities
Here are some examples of the actual work your day would include.
- Manage, grow, train and develop the Search Engine Marketing (SEM/PPC) team
- Oversee day-to-day activities for SEM, SEO, and PPC marketing including campaign planning, implementation, budget management, performance review and optimization of campaigns (Google Ads, Bing, Amazon, Walmart, Ebay, Social)
- A/B test a multitude of campaign variables to increase the efficiency of campaign budgets to drive leads/conversion improvements
- Recommend landing page strategies and consult on landing page planning and optimizations and provide analytics to measure ROAS
- Developing, implementing, and reporting on effective SEO strategies
- Stay current with new advances in search engine marketing, competitive landscape, keyword research and overall digital space
- Work closely with the eCommerce team and other sales channel managers to formulate effective strategies and attain our objectives
- Collaborate with agencies and/or other vendors when required, including digital marketing project managers and digital marketing specialists

Skill Set
To be successful in this role, you need to have a certain amount of knowledge and skills:
- 3-5+ years in a Search Engine Marketing Management role; leading and developing a team
- 3+ years of experience in overseeing and monitoring Paid Search campaigns and KPIs
- Fluency in Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Amazon Ads
- Experience in Walmart, Ebay, and Social advertising is a plus but not required
- Experience in strategizing, developing, executing, optimizing, and measuring all forms of digital paid media (ex. SEM, SEO, PPC)
- Requires hands-on knowledge of best practices in SEM and a proven track-record of delivering qualified traffic from both an acquisition and conversion standpoint
- Expertise in GA4 (or other analytics software), conversion tracking, e-commerce, and the interplay of PPC/SEO
- Strong analytical skills with ability to drive meaningful actions from large data sets
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- An organized individual with great attention to detail and focus on quality of results
- A self-motivated individual; a good team player
- Takes accountability and ownership of his/her own work
This position requires manual dexterity for typing, sitting at a desk, and looking at a computer screen for long periods of time. In addition, portions of the training require the Paid Search Manager to shadow other departments that may require physical activity including lifting 25-35 pounds and standing for long periods of time.
This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level, touching all aspects of the search marketing roadmap including keyword management, creating of campaign messaging, bidding strategies, creative testing, and analytics.
Availability
Your expected working hours will be an 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:30am – 6:00pm EST Monday – Friday.
