What you will do
- Prioritize, coordinate, and execute all site merchandising activities inclusive of sequencing, navigation, site content, product launches, promotions, SEO initiatives, and 3rd party vendors (Recharge, Jebbit, Loyalty, Quizzes, etc).
- Manage product level content for images, pricing, copy, product/category graphics, cross-sells and up-sells. Ensure best in class website feature sets are executed properly and without issue.
- Collaborate with Product Merchants, Marketing, Production, Creative, Analytics, and Digital Technology teams to ensure that the front end meets consumer and DTC needs.
- Collaborate with the SEO team to enrich search results and ranking; provide recommendations and considerations of SEO impacts from business strategies and decisions.
- Configure site modules, promotions and products and implement applicable business rules to drive site performance and results
- Be a subject-matter expert on the functionality and tooling necessary to create, manage and optimize the site layout
- Ensure consistency across the site in navigation, product features, search and placement of creative assets
- Deliver promotional messages across the site in creative and balanced ways to drive sales & conversion
- Ensure optimal tagging of data attributes that drive navigation and search
- Measure and analyze consumer adoption of site merchandising strategies and iterate to increase revenue, conversion and profitability
- Analyze site traffic and conversion metrics to continually optimize site merchandising - utilizing data and analysis to tune product, page and site layout
- Conceive of and support A/B testing opportunities for assigned sections. Analyze results and make adjustments where necessary
- Act as liaison between DTC and Digital Technology related to all new website development and implementation.
- Create excitement around and gain buy-in for DTC capabilities with Business Unit stakeholders.
Management & Leadership
- Manage Site Merchandising team, GIT, Editorial, UX/UI and Production timelines and verify proper execution
- Establish, analyze and report on campaign and site activities
Strategic and Product Development
- Build strategy and define requirements to continually evolve functional & aspects of the site
- Collaborate with Merchandising and Creative to develop appropriate information architecture for new functionality and contribute business requirements for said functionality. Be a business stakeholder with Technology Product and Engineering teams
- Work with Supply, Planning, Marketing and UX/UI for all appropriate brand and category initiatives and ensure proper execution on the site
- Contribute to the short and long term vision for Colgate Digital Commerce Strategy. Continually seek out new and innovative e-commerce specific opportunities to drive sales and site functionality
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or similar field
- 10 years total experience with 3-4 years of ecommerce experience required
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud & Shopify experience or similar experience required
- Must possess strong computer skills and have ability to learn in-house tools quickly and thoroughly
- Solutions-oriented with a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail oriented and focused on quality
- Proven analytical skills
- Web analytics experience a plus with tools such as Adobe Analytics, Core Metrics, Google Analytics recommendations backed with facts/data.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of diverse requests, priorities and tasks
- A strong, creative problem solver who is self-motivated and tenacious when tackling tough issues
- A team player with energy and enthusiasm and a high tolerance for change
- Experience with a large, established brand preferred
- Ability to operate independently given direction and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised.
- Strong passion for proactive speed and simplicity
- Other relevant systems knowledge required: Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), Jira, STIBO/PIM, OMS, DOMO

Salary Range $112,000 - $164,850 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
