Summary Description:
Reporting to the Associate Director of Digital Communications and Marketing, the first priority of the Digital Marketing Assistant is to assist with the execution of various email campaigns by drafting and building emails for distribution to the Alliance’s multiple audiences, ensuring the content is clear and error-free, and tracking performance.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Draft website and email text as needed for the Alliance’s priority audiences.
- Build emails in the Informz and Salesforce Marketing Cloud platforms.
- Oversee the email approval and editing process.
- Update website pages as needed.
- Assist in tracking email and website performance and the creation of reports.
- Support as needed the implementation and testing of the Alliance’s new Salesforce NPSP customer relationships management system.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in English, marketing, communications, advertising, project management or computer science and/or 1-3 years marketing or communications experience
- Experience writing for Web and e-newsletters
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and highly organized.
- Strong project management skills and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask
- Demonstrated initiative, ability to work independently and with others and with minimal daily supervision
- Knowledge Microsoft Office Suite, CMS (WordPress, Storyblok) is a plus
- HTML knowledge and familiarity with Google Analytics or other marketing analytics platforms preferred
- Experience with email marketing platforms, such as Mailchimp, Hubspot, Constant Contact
- Familiarity with Informz or Salesforce Marketing Cloud email marketing software and Salesforce database is a plus
Compensation
The compensation for this position is $30 per hour.
