Mandu, DC's first full service Korean restaurant, is looking for an Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team. This person would work directly with our executive chef, general manager, as well as Chef/Owners Yesoon and Danny Lee (Anju, CHIKO, I Egg You).
Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to: preparation, recipe buildilng, ordering and receiving, inventory, scheduling, working stations, etc. This position will start off as an hourly position but there is possibility of moving up and growing with the restaurant in a larger role over time.
Prior experience with Korean food is not a necessity. Applicants need to excel in a team environment and work well with others, treating every staff member with utmost respect and courtesy. Anything less will not be tolerated.
