Job description

Under general supervision conducting data forensic investigations for enterprise computer security incidents including but not limited to internal and external intellectual property theft, attacks/intrusions, and computer abuse. Demonstrated skill performing operational software/hardware testing on digital equipment and other electronic devices. Ability to follow through on leads until all possible avenues in investigating a case have been exhausted. Ensure confidentiality and evidence handling procedures, prepare reports and documents case details, development and remediation/primary control recommendations. Demonstrated skill in performing post-incident computer forensics without destruction of critical data. In support of litigation efforts, performs e-Discovery collections and support. This includes but is not limited to convert, extremely confidential matters and delivery of electronic data collections with quality and timeliness, while complying with established processes, procedures, and documentation requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Five (5) years of experience in IT information security.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:


  • Under general supervision conducting data forensic investigations for enterprise computer security incidents including but not limited to P&C internal investigations and external interaction supporting subpoena response activities.
  • Demonstrated architecture experience, expertise in C++, shell scripting, php, RHEL, EDW(EIW) and numerous databases and web servers.
  • Ability to follow through on leads until all possible avenues in investigating a case have been exhausted.
  • Ensure confidentiality and evidence handling procedures, prepare reports and documents case details, development and remediation/primary control recommendations.
  • Demonstrated skill in performing post-incident computer forensics without destruction of critical data.
  • In support of litigation efforts, performs e-Discovery collections and support. This includes but is not limited to convert, extremely confidential matters, and delivery of electronic data collections with quality and timeliness, while complying with established processes, procedures, and documentation requirements.

Job Specific Information:
  • Customer interaction with the highest level of the enterprise to discuss requirements, develop delivery schedules, test and deploy software.
  • Implement and ensure resiliency and disaster readiness of all DF infrastructure.
  • Implement and ensure compliance, including data retention requirements of all DF data is functional and in place.
  • Support, refine and enhance the existing DF infrastructure and reporting, including but not limited to data feeds, self-service and other custom applications used by the team and our customers.

Work Location(s)/Domicile:
Position will be hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA, Collierville, TN, Orlando, FL, or Plano, TX and candidates must live within a reasonable commutable distance. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees must be onsite as directed by leadership but allows team members flexibility to work from home otherwise.
