Create, design and develop responsive user-friendly websites and applications with strong front-end development skills. Responsible for a wide range of tasks pertaining to company online presence including but not limited to: day-to-day design, management, development and testing for CITGO.com; MyCITGOStore; MarketNet; CITGOLubes, MystikLubes, ClarionLubes; other micro sites and landing pages; SharePoint Modern sites; e-cards; promotional banner ads; and monthly e-newsletters.

 

The position works with all business units and support groups to provide web and application solutions that enhance the CITGO digital brand image aligned with brand standards and guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

Degree:

• College Degree (Bachelors Level).
• Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Web, Graphic Design or related disciplines preferred; or equivalent work-related experience. (Portfolio and live website work required.)

The minimum number of years of job related experience required is:

• 3-5 years.

List any specialized training or unique skills required:

• Substantial knowledge in user experience design principles, responsive design, Bootstrap, HTML5, JavaScript, Sass or other pre-processor equivalent, CSS, ADA compliance, GitHub, VSCode, JavaScript, jQuery, testing and debugging code, and web image optimization.
• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency.
• Google Analytics and Tag Manager proficiency.
• Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint Modern proficiency.
• Basic understanding of Java, .NET or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Understanding of SEO principles.
• Working knowledge of Kentico or other content management systems, Marketing Cloud, Jira or other project management tools is a plus.

Job Duties

Uses industry insight and technical expertise to present and provide fully-integrated online marketing and communication solutions for internal business units.

Design user-centric websites and applications using user experience design principles and best practices. Develop websites and applications using technologies such as HTML5, Cascading Style Sheets, Sass, Bootstrap, JavaScript and jQuery with basic understanding of .NET/Java or other object-oriented languages.

Design, develop, manage and test HTML email campaigns and communications using tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud that would work in multiple email clients such as Microsoft Outlook.

Work in the GitHub, Kentico CMS, and SharePoint Modern environments to update and maintain CITGO.com, MarketNet and many other intranet and microsites with the latest web technologies.

Responsible for development and creation of assigned communication projects including, but not limited to: sales materials and e-newsletters for internal and external audiences. Includes content creation, sourcing imagery, creating charts/graphs, data visualization, developing templates and other related tasks.

Management of comprehensive web analytics (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager) and reporting. Manage and update email distribution lists; report analytics as needed.

Stay current with new technologies and solutions to business problems and opportunities.
