Digital Design Engineer

The Aledium Group seeks a talented Digital Design EngineerFOR OUR CLIENT BASED IN NORTH CAROLINA (REQUIRES RELOCATION). Are you a software engineer with Unix/Linux operating systems experience? Implementing DSP algorithms in microcontrollers and FPGAs? Acquainted with ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553, and other interfaces?

IF YOU ARE A RECENT GRADUATE OR NEARING GRADUATION, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. THIS ROLE REQUIRES AT MINIMUM FIVE (5) YEARS OF DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, AND CERTIFICATION OF FIRMARE, PREFERABLY IN THE AEROSPACE OR DEFENSE INDUSTRIES.

Required Skills:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Hardware description languages like Verilog or VHDL.
• Expertise in designing algorithms and data structures.
• Proven skills in software testing methods.
• Hands-on experience with board testing, troubleshooting, and hardware/software integration.
• Familiarity with FPGA development and simulation tools.
