Digital & Data Science Product Business Analyst
As the Digital & Data Science Product Business Analyst at the Client Supply Chain (JJSC), your role centers on spearheading the development of digital and data science products, with a primary focus on JJSC Enterprise Functions such as Deliver, Procurement, Quality & Compliance.
The JJSC Digital and Data Science (D&DS) team, at the forefront of innovation, has successfully developed and deployed cutting-edge platforms and products, delivering substantial business value. With a focus on AI/Machine Learning, Simulation & Optimization, Forecasting & Prediction, IoT & Image Analytics, Natural Language Processing, and End-to-End Visibility/Visualization, these scalable solutions empower JJSC employees with profound insights, transforming customer service approaches. In your role as the Digital & Data Science Product Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal, highly visible role in driving the complete digital product lifecycle. From ideation to deployment and sustained management, your focus will revolve around meeting customer and business needs, incorporating user feedback into product enhancements, and actively participating in critical business discussions and projects.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position is responsible for:
· Execute early-stage data experiments, emphasizing Proof of Concept for robust insights.
· Analyze and manipulate data sets using SQL and Python to derive meaningful conclusions.
· Conduct exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing to extract valuable insights.
· Translate intricate data findings into compelling stories for a diverse stakeholder audience.
· Develop impactful visualizations and reports, ensuring effective communication of findings.
· Present clear recommendations, catering to audiences with varying technical backgrounds.
· Collaborate cross-functionally to align data experiments with strategic business goals.
· Ensure data quality and accuracy through documented cleaning and preprocessing processes.
· Regularly update project status for diverse audiences, including upper management, utilizing professional communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of business experience required.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Business or related field with a focus on data science / advanced analytics / AI / machine learning is preferred.
- Professional or didactic application of Microsoft Office software (e.g. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Teams, SharePoint) is required.
- Strong written communication skills (e.g. Ability to present well-written reports, PowerPoint presentations, facilitate discussions, and navigate difficult conversations) is required.
- Quality System & Compliance, Deliver, Procurement, External Manufacturing, ERP, Non-ERP, BOM data and Medical Device experience is preferred.
· Experience using Jira, Confluence, Python, Pandas, Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and preferred.
· Ability to analyze and understand complex data sets is required.
· Experience working with digital, analytics, and data science projects is required.
· Proven ability to work successfully in a highly matrixed organization is preferred.
· Ability to work efficiently with general or limited supervision, self-learn, and self-seek solutions is required
