Digital & Content Marketing Specialist

Position Overview

Lamark is seeking a Digital & Content Marketing Specialist to join our growing agency. The ideal candidate will work with clients, strategists, and digital specialists to create high-engagement digital and communication programs for B2B and B2C clients that build brands and drive results. You will play a pivotal role in developing, executing, and managing client content strategies across various channels. Your ability to understand and adapt to the unique needs of both business and consumer audiences will be key in creating content that educates, informs, and engages our target markets. You'll collaborate closely with other marketing and channel teams, subject matter experts, and design professionals to deliver high-quality content that drives brand awareness, leads, and customer loyalty.

This position reports to the Senior Content & Digital Strategist but will collaborate and consult with team members from across the agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging content and cross-channel strategies and presentation for select clients.
  • Develop effective digital ads, whitepapers, case studies, e-books, blog posts, emails, marketing materials and thought leadership articles that cater to the needs of businesses and professionals.
  • Develop product-focused content that highlights the benefits and features of client audiences to their intended audiences.
  • Create engaging and relatable content such as blog articles, landing pages, video scripts, digital ad copy and infographics that resonate with consumers.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of the overall content strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and brand messaging.
  • Partner with optimization team to create content that supports CRO, A/B or Multivariate Testing
  • Collaborate with the creative team to create visually appealing content that captures attention and enhances the overall user experience.
  • Work closely with the performance team to ensure content is optimized for SEO and supports broader marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Undertake or support projects such as content audits, pitch deck support, audience research, etc.
  • Provide creative ideas and plans to activate brands across digital channels such as social, organic search, video/YouTube, etc.
  • Work with the strategy team on personas and journey mapping
  • Develop messaging that is on brand and drives brand recognition and conversion.
  • Work closely with creative team & provide high-level design direction within writing.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Understanding of cross-channel Content Marketing
  • Strategic mindset and understanding of what moves the needle across digital channels
  • Must have the ability to adapt to different categories (B2C and B2B) and brand voices
  • Proficient in Content Marketing theory, strategy, and application
  • Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary (i.e., content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management)
  • Strong communication, writing, and creativity
  • Understanding of digital platforms and measurement tools
  • Consultative and collaborative approach
  • Understanding of B2C and B2B industries
  • Ability to analyze a situation and construct prescriptive strategies and recommendations
  • Partnering skills in working with clients and internal teams
  • Must be able to work independently and within a team environment

Education & Experience

  • Prefer 3+ years working in an agency or in-house marketing environment
  • Passionate about understanding audience needs, and staying ahead of the curve on new strategies, trends and tactics
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, visual, and written
  • Experience with analytics (i.e. Google Analytics 4, etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to self-manage time and work schedule
